A flared serif with low-contrast strokes and broad proportions, showing a calm, steady rhythm across text. Stems widen into softly tapered endings, producing bracketed, slightly calligraphic terminals rather than crisp slab blocks. Uppercase forms are wide and open, with rounded bowls (C, O, G) and confident horizontals on E and F. Lowercase is sturdy and readable with a single-storey g and a two-storey a; the joins and curves feel smooth and slightly softened, giving counters plenty of air. Numerals are similarly wide and even, with rounded shapes and modest, flared finishing strokes.

Well-suited to editorial typography where a calm, readable serif is needed—books, long-form articles, and magazine layouts—especially when a slightly expansive, airy texture is desired. It can also support branding and packaging that benefit from a traditional-but-warm voice, as well as headings where its broad capitals and flared finishing strokes can carry presence without heavy weight.

The overall tone is literary and composed, balancing traditional serif cues with a friendlier, less formal softness. It reads as dependable and editorial, with enough character in the flared endings to feel distinctive without becoming decorative.

Likely designed to provide a text-capable serif with a distinctive flared signature—combining familiar, classical letterforms with softened terminals and generous proportions for comfortable reading and an approachable, cultivated tone.

The face maintains a consistent, low-contrast texture in paragraphs, with large, open counters and a slightly expanded footprint that creates an unhurried color on the page. The flare at terminals is a key identifier, showing up in both straight stems and curved forms and lending a subtle engraved or pen-derived feel.
