A heavy, high-contrast serif with compact counters, sturdy vertical stems, and short, blunted wedge-like serifs. Edges are intentionally roughened with irregular nicks and bumps, creating an ink-stamped or worn-print texture across both strokes and interior shapes. Curves are rounded but slightly lumpy, terminals often flare subtly, and overall spacing feels lively rather than strictly even, contributing to a hand-crafted rhythm. Figures are similarly weighty and textured, with simple, readable forms and the same distressed perimeter treatment.

Best suited for display settings such as posters, product packaging, labels, signage, and attention-grabbing headlines where the rough texture can read clearly. It also works well for themed materials—vintage-inspired designs, craft branding, or theatrical and seasonal promotions—especially when paired with simpler body text for contrast.

The texture and chunky serif structure evoke a vintage, tactile feel—like old posters, rubber stamps, or letterpress work pulled from well-used type. The irregularities add personality and a slightly eerie, storybook tone that can read as rustic, theatrical, or Halloween-adjacent depending on color and layout. Overall, it feels expressive and handmade rather than formal or corporate.

The design appears intended to combine a traditional serif foundation with deliberate wear and print noise, capturing the character of imperfect production. It aims for strong impact and instant atmosphere while keeping letterforms recognizable and broadly readable in short-to-medium text settings.

The distressed detailing is consistent across the set, so the font maintains a unified “weathered” voice even in longer passages. At larger sizes the texture becomes a key feature; at smaller sizes the roughening can visually thicken joins and reduce crispness in tight spaces.
