This serif italic shows a distinctly calligraphic construction with steep rightward slant, strong thick–thin modulation, and extremely fine hairlines. Serifs are sharp and minimal, often reading as tapered terminals rather than heavy bracketed feet, giving the forms a crisp, cut-from-metal feel. Capitals are high-waisted and narrow-to-moderate in proportion, with sweeping diagonals in letters like A, V, W, and X and a sculpted, vertical-stress rhythm through round letters. The lowercase is compact with clean joins, a single-storey g, and lively, tapered strokes; counters stay open despite the delicate horizontals. Figures follow the same refined logic, with thin crossbars and elegant curves that keep the numerals light on the page.

Best suited to display-driven settings such as magazine headlines, pull quotes, brand identities, and high-end packaging where its fine hairlines and sculpted contrast can be appreciated. It also works well for invitations and formal stationery, and as an accent italic paired with a sturdier text face for longer reading.

The tone is luxurious and poised, evoking fashion and magazine typography where delicacy and contrast communicate prestige. Its sharp, bright hairlines and fluid italic movement add a sense of speed and sophistication, producing a confident, dramatic voice without becoming ornamental.

The design appears intended to deliver a modern, high-fashion take on a classic contrasted italic, prioritizing sharpness, sheen, and graceful movement. Its restrained serifs and disciplined stress aim for a premium editorial look that feels contemporary while still rooted in traditional italic calligraphy.

At larger sizes the hairline detailing becomes a key feature, while at smaller sizes the thinnest strokes and tight joins may require careful color management and generous tracking. The italic angle and strong stress create a distinctly directional texture, making line breaks and spacing especially noticeable in continuous text.
