A chunky, hand-inked display face with heavily irregular, eroded contours and occasional interior break-up that mimics worn printing. Strokes are thick and mostly monoline in feeling, but the edges wobble and fray, creating a lively, uneven color on the page. Counters tend to be compact and slightly lumpy, while terminals look blunted and brushy rather than crisp. Overall spacing and rhythm are intentionally inconsistent, giving the alphabet a natural, stamped/printed-from-rough-source character.

Best suited to headlines and short text where the rough texture can be appreciated—posters, album/film artwork, packaging labels, and editorial openers. It can also work for branding elements that want a rugged, analog feel, especially when paired with a cleaner text face for body copy.

The texture and wobble give it a gritty, DIY tone—part retro print, part handmade signage. It reads as imperfect in a deliberate way, adding warmth and a bit of mischievous energy while staying legible at display sizes.

The design appears intended to simulate distressed, imperfect printing—like a worn stamp, rough letterpress impression, or brushy marker pulled through a textured surface—while keeping letterforms familiar and readable for punchy display typography.

The distressed texture is prominent across both cases and numerals, with noticeable edge noise that will become more pronounced as size increases and can fill in at very small sizes. The mixed-case set maintains a consistent roughness, and the numerals share the same worn, ink-pressed look for cohesive titling and poster work.
