This serif display face is built from sharp, angular construction with consistently chamfered corners that create a faceted, beveled look. Strokes show clear thick–thin modulation, with sturdy verticals and finer connecting strokes, and serifs that read as bracketless, wedge-like terminals. Curves are often treated as multi-sided forms (notably in C, G, O, and Q), giving rounds an octagonal geometry. Proportions are slightly condensed in many capitals, with crisp alignment and a disciplined, upright rhythm; lowercase forms echo the same cut-corner logic and include a single-storey a and g.

Best suited to headlines, mastheads, packaging, and identity work where a historic or institutional voice is desired. It can also serve for certificates, invitations, and display settings that benefit from engraved, faceted detailing; for longer passages it will typically read best at larger sizes due to the strong contrast and angular ornament.

The overall tone is stately and old-world, evoking Gothic/blackletter poster typography translated into a cleaner roman framework. Its crisp facets and strong contrast convey a sense of tradition, ceremony, and authority, with an ornamental edge that feels crafted rather than purely utilitarian.

The design appears intended to merge a classical serif skeleton with blackletter-adjacent, chiseled detailing, producing a decorative display face that signals heritage and formality. The repeated chamfers and polygonal curves suggest an aim for an engraved or cut-stone aesthetic with consistent, systematized geometry across letters and figures.

Diagonal joins are clean and pointed, and interior counters stay relatively open despite the decorative shaping, helping the face hold together in short text. Numerals are similarly faceted and emphatic, matching the caps’ geometric rounds and sharp terminals for consistent headline styling.
