A decorative serif with tall, narrow proportions and sharply faceted construction. Strokes are mostly straight with crisp joins and frequent chamfered corners, giving rounds a polygonal, octagonal feel (notably in O, Q, and numerals). Serifs are small and angular, often wedge-like, with a consistent, controlled rhythm and moderate stroke modulation. The lowercase keeps a traditional structure but echoes the same cut-corner detailing, producing a compact, vertical texture in text.

Best used for display typography such as headlines, posters, mastheads, and book or album covers where its faceted serifs and condensed presence can carry visual character. It can also work for packaging and branding that needs a historic or gothic edge, while longer text is better in short passages or pull quotes due to the dense, vertical color.

The overall tone reads as gothic and ceremonial, with an engraved, old-world crispness that feels authoritative and slightly ominous. Its sharp edges and condensed stance suggest tradition and formality, suited to dramatic or historic framing rather than casual voice.

The font appears designed to merge classic serif proportions with a deliberately cut, beveled drawing style, evoking engraved lettering and blackletter-adjacent drama without becoming a true blackletter. The intention seems to be strong impact and period flavor in compact horizontal space.

The design emphasizes verticality and precision: narrow counters, tight apertures, and pointed diagonals create a strong, high-contrast silhouette at display sizes. Numerals and capitals are especially architectural, while the lowercase maintains legibility but retains the same faceted styling.
