A refined serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation, crisp unbracketed serifs, and a distinctly vertical stress. The texture alternates between sturdy stems and very fine hairlines, giving the letterforms a sparkling, engraved feel. Proportions are compact and slightly condensed, with a relatively small x-height and tall ascenders that emphasize elegance. Several glyphs introduce decorative curls and ball-like terminals (notably in S, J, g, y, and some numerals), adding flourish while the overall skeleton remains formal and controlled.

Well-suited to magazine headlines, pull quotes, and titling where contrast and elegance are desirable. It also fits formal invitations, boutique branding, and cover typography that benefits from classic serif sophistication with a hint of ornament. For longer passages, it will be most comfortable when size and reproduction preserve the fine hairlines.

The font conveys a poised, high-society tone with a touch of drama. Its sharp contrast and occasional swash-like gestures read as editorial and classical, suggesting luxury, ceremony, and a slightly theatrical vintage sensibility rather than an everyday utilitarian voice.

The design appears intended to blend a classic high-contrast serif foundation with selective ornamental terminals to create a distinctive display voice. It prioritizes elegance and visual sparkle, aiming for memorable titles and refined branding rather than purely neutral text setting.

In text, the thin connecting strokes and hairline serifs create a delicate rhythm that feels crisp at display sizes, while the ornamental terminals provide distinctive moments without fully turning into a script. Numerals echo the same contrast and include decorative forms on select figures, reinforcing the display-oriented character.
