A tightly set, condensed serif with striking contrast between thick vertical stems and hairline joins. Stems frequently broaden into wedge-like, flared terminals, creating sharp, triangular serifs and crisp ink-trap-like notches in places where strokes meet. The overall construction is upright and vertical-stress, with narrow counters and a strongly sculpted silhouette that emphasizes pointed joins, tapered cross-strokes, and rhythmic thick–thin alternation. Numerals and capitals carry a poster-like solidity, while the lowercase maintains compact proportions with distinct, angular finishing details.

Best used for headlines, mastheads, posters, and other large-size applications where the dramatic contrast and flared endings can read clearly. It can also work for branding and packaging that benefits from a strong, vintage-leaning display voice, while extended body text will feel heavy and visually busy unless set large with generous spacing.

The tone is bold and theatrical, with an editorial, headline-driven presence that feels both classic and slightly eccentric. Its sharp flares and high drama in contrast suggest vintage display typography—confident, attention-seeking, and well suited to statements rather than neutrality.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact in a compact width, using exaggerated contrast and flared terminals to produce a distinctive, sculpted rhythm. It prioritizes character and punch over neutrality, aiming for memorable word-shapes and strong typographic color in display layouts.

The compressed width and tight apertures make the texture dense, especially in longer lines; spacing and size will strongly influence readability. The flared endings create a lively sparkle at edges and corners, giving words a cut-paper, carved look in display settings.
