A heavy, angular serif with blackletter-influenced construction and sharply faceted corners. Strokes are largely monoline in feel, with pronounced triangular/flared terminals and wedge-like serifs that create a carved, chiseled impression. Counters are often polygonal (notably in O/0 and rounded letters), and joins favor crisp, straight-edged geometry over curves, producing a compact, sturdy silhouette. The lowercase follows the same broken, faceted logic, with a single-storey a and strong, straight-sided stems; overall spacing reads fairly tight and the rhythm is strongly vertical.

Best suited to display sizes where the faceted detailing and wedge terminals can read cleanly—titles, posters, branding marks, labels, and themed signage. It also works for short bursts of copy (pull quotes, headers, navigation) when a historic or ceremonial atmosphere is desired.

The face communicates a historic, ceremonial tone—evoking signage, coats-of-arms, and old-world printing. Its sharp facets and emphatic terminals add a stern, authoritative mood with a distinctly Gothic/medieval flavor, making text feel formal and declarative rather than casual.

The design appears intended to reinterpret traditional Gothic/blackletter cues in a more geometric, serifed display form. Its consistent faceting and flared terminals prioritize atmosphere and strong texture, aiming for an authoritative, old-world presence in contemporary layout contexts.

Numerals and round forms echo the octagonal counter motif, reinforcing a consistent, engineered geometry across the set. The design’s distinctive corners and inward notches create strong texture in paragraphs, but also make individual letters feel highly stylized—best when the angularity is a feature, not a distraction.
