This typeface presents a forceful, display-oriented serif voice built from thick vertical stems and extremely thin hairlines. Serifs are crisp and pointed, often with wedge-like forms and minimal bracketing, creating an assertive, engraved feel. Many glyphs show pronounced vertical stress, with rounded characters (like O and C) swelling on the sides while the top and bottom transitions pinch into hairlines. Terminals frequently finish in small balls or teardrops, especially in lowercase, and the overall rhythm is expansive with generous horizontal proportions and compact internal counters.

Best suited to headlines, titling, and short statements where contrast and detailing can be appreciated—such as posters, magazine nameplates, packaging, and book or album covers. It can work as a strong brand or logotype face when used at generous sizes and with ample spacing.

The font conveys a dramatic, old-world sophistication—more stage-poster and headline than everyday text. Its sharp contrasts and ornamental finishing details read as confident and slightly theatrical, with a vintage editorial flavor that feels ceremonial and attention-seeking.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum visual impact through extreme stroke contrast, crisp serif geometry, and ornamental terminals, creating a classic yet bold display texture. Its wide stance and sculpted curves suggest an emphasis on grandeur and legibility-at-scale rather than continuous reading.

At larger sizes the hairlines and delicate joins become a defining feature, while at smaller sizes those same details can visually close up counters and reduce clarity. The figures match the uppercase’s bold presence, with curvy forms and fine internal cuts that echo the serifed, high-contrast construction.
