This serif typeface features pronounced thick–thin modulation with delicate hairlines and strong vertical stems, creating a crisp, high-contrast texture. Serifs are sharp and finely cut, reading as lightly bracketed in places with tapered, knife-like terminals rather than blocky slabs. The capitals are stately and compact with a steady baseline and clean, controlled curves; round forms show clear vertical stress and tight apertures. Lowercase shapes are similarly sculpted, with a two-storey a and g, a narrow, pointed w, and lively diagonals that keep word shapes energetic without becoming calligraphic.

This design is well suited to headlines, deck copy, and pull quotes where its contrast and crisp serifs can add sophistication. It also fits magazine and book-cover typography, as well as premium branding and formal printed materials such as invitations or programs, especially when set with comfortable spacing.

The overall tone is refined and authoritative, with a distinctly editorial polish. Its sharp contrast and tailored details convey a sense of luxury and tradition, suited to contexts that benefit from elegance and a bit of drama rather than neutrality.

The typeface appears intended as a modern, conventional text serif with elevated contrast and finely cut details, balancing traditional proportions with a sharper, more contemporary edge for editorial and display-led composition.

At text sizes the strong contrast produces a bright, sparkling rhythm, while in larger settings the thin hairlines and pointed terminals become the defining character. Numerals follow the same high-contrast logic, with clear, classic proportions that align well with the capital design.
