A flared serif with tapered stems that broaden into subtly wedge-like terminals, creating a lively, calligraphic rhythm. Serifs are modest and often bracketed, with smooth transitions from stem to terminal rather than blunt slabs. Bowls and rounds (O, C, e) are generously open with a slightly humanist modulation, while diagonals (V, W, X, Y) end in sharp, chiseled points. The lowercase shows readable, bookish proportions with a two-storey a and g, a compact r, and a gently curved ear on the g; spacing appears even and comfortable in text. Numerals read as oldstyle figures, with noticeable ascenders/descenders and softly flared finishing strokes that match the letterforms.

It suits editorial and book typography where a traditional serif voice is desired, performing well in paragraphs as well as in short headlines and chapter openers. The flared terminals and oldstyle numerals also make it a strong choice for cultural institutions, essays, and print-forward branding that aims for a classic, cultivated feel.

The overall tone is classical and literary, balancing formality with a warm, hand-informed character. The flared endings add a touch of gravitas and tradition without feeling rigid, making the texture feel composed and editorial.

The design appears intended to blend classic serif readability with a subtly calligraphic, flared-stroke signature—delivering a familiar, trustworthy texture while keeping enough distinctive stroke endings to stand out in display sizes.

In the sample text, the face maintains clear word shapes and a consistent color at larger paragraph sizes, with sharp punctuation and confident caps that feel suited to titling. Round forms stay smooth and stable, while the flared terminals add gentle emphasis at stroke endings rather than high-contrast sparkle.
