A heavy, display-oriented serif with roughened, irregular contours that mimic worn ink or dry-brush lettering. Strokes are chunky with moderate contrast and frequent edge nicks, creating a speckled, distressed surface inside bowls and along terminals. Serifs read as wedge-like and uneven, with occasional flare and slight tapering that keeps the shapes lively rather than geometric. Spacing and widths vary from glyph to glyph, producing an organic rhythm and a slightly unruly texture across words.

Best suited to posters, titles, and punchy headlines where the distressed texture can read as intentional character. It works well for Halloween promotions, spooky event graphics, game or film titling, and themed packaging that benefits from a worn, handmade imprint. Use at larger sizes and with generous leading to keep the rough edges from crowding the text.

The overall tone feels eerie and playful at the same time—like handmade signage or a storybook title printed from imperfect type. The distressed details add grit and age, pushing it toward horror, Halloween, and rustic fantasy aesthetics. Its bouncy irregularity keeps it approachable, more quirky than truly menacing.

The design appears intended to deliver a bold, attention-grabbing serif with an aged, imperfect print feel. Its uneven edges and speckled wear simulate distressed ink, aiming for themed display use where atmosphere and texture matter as much as legibility.

The font’s texture becomes a key visual feature at larger sizes, where the internal speckling and torn edges are clearly visible. In continuous text the rough contours create a strong color and can feel busy, especially where counters are smaller, reinforcing its role as a headline or short-phrase face rather than a workhorse text serif.
