A condensed serif with low-contrast strokes and a mostly upright stance, distinguished by repeated wedge-like notches and slashed cut-ins that interrupt stems and curves. Serifs are sharp and tapered rather than bracketed, and many joins show deliberate “carved” voids that create a broken, punctured rhythm through the counters. Curves stay fairly smooth and compact, while terminals and intersections pick up small angular edits that make the texture feel jittery without becoming rough. Numerals and capitals maintain a consistent narrow footprint, but the internal cut shapes vary enough to keep the line color lively and irregular.

Best used for short, prominent text where its carved interruptions can be appreciated—posters, punchy headlines, cover titles, and playful packaging. It can also work for brand marks or event graphics that want a serif voice with an intentionally weird twist, but it will be most effective when set with generous size and spacing.

The overall tone is mischievous and slightly uncanny—like classic serif letterforms that have been playfully vandalized or cut with a stencil knife. It reads as energetic and oddball rather than formal, giving text a quirky, attention-seeking personality that suits humorous or surreal messaging.

The design appears intended to remix a traditional condensed serif skeleton with deliberate cutouts and notched details to create a one-off, decorative texture. Its goal is differentiation and character—keeping familiar letter shapes while adding systematic visual disruptions that feel experimental and humorous.

In longer text the recurring notches create a distinctive sparkle, especially on vertical stems (e.g., I, J, l, t) and rounded letters (e.g., O, Q, e, g). The condensed proportions help it stack tightly in headlines, while the decorative interruptions make it better suited to display sizes than dense body copy.
