This is a right-leaning serif with an old-style, calligraphic construction and bracketed serifs. Strokes show moderate contrast with tapered terminals and smooth, angled stress that keeps the rhythm flowing across words. Capitals are broad and slightly swashed, with curved entry/exit strokes and a gently animated baseline presence; the Q has a prominent, looping tail. Lowercase forms are compact and cursive-leaning in spirit, with single-storey a and g, a looped descender on j, and a long, gently curving f that reinforces the italic texture. Numerals follow the same slanted, serifed logic with open shapes and tapered ends, matching the text color and spacing of the letters.

Well suited to editorial typography such as book interiors, magazine features, and pull quotes where an elegant italic voice is needed. It also fits invitations, certificates, and premium packaging or branding that benefits from classic serif formality and a subtly calligraphic finish.

The overall tone is classic and literary, suggesting traditional book typography with a touch of flourish. It feels refined and formal without becoming rigid, with enough movement and warmth to suit expressive headlines as well as elegant running text.

The design appears intended to provide a conventional, readable serif italic with a distinctly hand-informed flavor—balancing traditional text proportions with expressive terminals and a graceful, continuous rhythm.

The italic slant and tapered terminals create a consistent diagonal flow, while the relatively generous widths and open counters help maintain clarity at larger text sizes. The design’s swash-like details are most noticeable in capitals and select lowercase joins/terminals, adding personality without turning into a script.
