A slanted serif with clear calligraphic construction, showing tapered strokes and pronounced thick–thin modulation. Serifs are small and bracketed, often finishing in sharp, slightly hooked terminals that give the letterforms a lively, drawn feel. Curves and joins are supple rather than mechanical, with generous entry/exit strokes and subtle swelling through bowls and diagonals. Capitals are relatively narrow and refined, while lowercase forms maintain an open rhythm with compact counters and a smooth, continuous italic flow.

Works well for book and editorial typography where an italic with strong character is needed for emphasis, introductions, pull quotes, or titling. It also fits formal stationery and invitations, and can add a premium feel to packaging and branding when used at display sizes. In longer settings, it’s best deployed where its contrast and lively terminals can breathe with adequate size and leading.

The overall tone is classic and literary, with an elegant, slightly dramatic italic presence suited to expressive setting. Its energetic terminals and strong contrast suggest a traditional, cultured voice—more refined than casual, and more human than purely formal. The texture reads as graceful and animated, lending emphasis without feeling heavy.

Designed to evoke an old-style, calligraphy-informed italic with refined contrast and a flowing, human rhythm. The intent appears to balance readability with expressive movement, offering a traditional voice that can shift from understated emphasis to decorative flair in select forms.

Figures follow the same slanted, calligraphic logic, with varying widths and curved strokes that match the italic rhythm. Distinctive swash-like gestures appear in a few characters (notably the ampersand), adding a hint of flourish while remaining consistent with the restrained serif detailing.
