A compact, condensed slab serif with heavy, squared-off serifs and a largely uniform stroke weight. The design emphasizes verticality and tight internal counters, with crisp, flat terminals and minimal curvature in the joins. Capitals are tall and rectangular, while the lowercase maintains a workmanlike rhythm with sturdy stems, compact bowls, and short, squared serifs that create a strong baseline and headline bar. Numerals follow the same dense, block-forward construction, reading solid and space-efficient.

Best suited to short, high-impact text such as posters, headlines, logos, packaging callouts, and signage where a compact footprint and strong presence are needed. It can work for subheads and brief editorial emphasis, but its dense color and tight counters may feel heavy for extended body copy.

The overall tone is forceful and utilitarian, with a vintage, print-era grit that feels at home in headlines and signage. Its dense build and squared finishing convey authority and stability, leaning toward an industrial or editorial voice rather than a delicate or conversational one.

The letterforms suggest an intention to deliver maximum impact in minimal horizontal space, combining squared slabs and compact proportions for bold, attention-grabbing typographic blocks reminiscent of traditional display and poster printing.

Spacing appears tight by default, producing a dark, continuous texture at text sizes; in longer lines it reads best with generous leading or slightly expanded tracking. The strong slab presence and condensed proportions make it visually commanding, especially in all-caps settings.
