A high-contrast serif with a pronounced rightward slant and an energetic, calligraphic skeleton. Thick verticals and hairline joins create a sharp light–dark rhythm, while the serifs read as tapered and often wedge-like, with subtle bracketing that keeps the shapes cohesive at display sizes. Bowls and counters are generous and rounded (notably in O, Q, 8), paired with long, sweeping entry/exit strokes and occasional teardrop-like terminals in the lowercase. Overall spacing feels slightly open for such a dark face, supporting a smooth horizontal flow despite the strong contrast.

Best suited to headlines, covers, pull quotes, and identity work where contrast and movement can be showcased. It will perform especially well in fashion/editorial layouts, luxury packaging, and event posters, and can also serve as a distinctive accent face alongside a calmer text serif or sans.

The tone is polished and theatrical, with a couture-like elegance that leans toward magazine and luxury branding aesthetics. Its brisk italic motion and knife-edge highlights give it a confident, high-drama presence that feels premium rather than casual.

The design appears aimed at delivering a contemporary take on classic high-contrast italics: dramatic stroke modulation, elegant serif shaping, and a strong forward lean to project refinement and momentum in display typography.

The uppercase shows a refined, slightly condensed calligraphic tension—sharp apexes (A, V, W) and crisp interior cut-ins—while the lowercase emphasizes fluidity with looping joins and lively terminals. Numerals echo the same contrast and slant, with clear, stylized silhouettes that favor sophistication over neutrality.
