A high-contrast serif with pronounced tapering and flared terminals, moving from hairline thins to weighty verticals. The serifs are sharp and finely bracketed, with a sculpted, calligraphic feel rather than blunt slabs. Proportions skew slightly narrow in the capitals with crisp apexes (notably in A, V, W, Y), while rounds like O and C are smooth and open. Lowercase shows a traditional, bookish construction with a two-storey a, a compact, lively e, and a distinctive g with a generous lower loop; joins and curves consistently thin into hairlines, giving a polished, engraved rhythm. Numerals follow the same contrast and tapering, reading crisp and dressy in text sizes that allow the hairlines to breathe.

Best suited to editorial headlines, mastheads, and high-impact typography where contrast and detail can be appreciated. It also works well for luxury branding, beauty/fashion applications, and upscale packaging; for longer passages it benefits from larger sizes and considerate line spacing to preserve the hairline detail.

The overall tone is luxurious and poised, with a fashion and culture-magazine sensibility. Its dramatic contrast and sharp finishing details convey sophistication and a slightly theatrical, high-end voice rather than an everyday utilitarian one.

The design appears intended to merge contemporary fashion-editorial sharpness with classical serif construction, using flared, tapered stroke endings to create a sense of crafted elegance. It aims for a premium, attention-grabbing texture that remains structured and readable in display and short text settings.

In the text sample, the strong vertical stress and delicate hairlines create a vivid light–dark texture that rewards generous size and comfortable spacing. The ampersand reads as bold and classic, matching the font’s editorial character and reinforcing its premium, display-leaning presence.
