A robust serif with a pronounced rightward slant and energetic, calligraphy-leaning construction. Strokes show strong thick–thin modulation, with weight concentrated in the main stems and tapered joins leading into crisp, bracketed serifs. Curves often finish in teardrop/ball-like terminals (notably in rounded and lowercase forms), and the overall texture is dark and compact with tightly shaped counters. Uppercase proportions are broad and steady, while the lowercase introduces more movement through angled stress, lively descenders, and slightly varied character widths.

Best suited to headlines, titles, and other prominent typographic moments where a forceful serif italic can carry the layout. It can also work for short editorial passages or pull quotes when a dense, classical texture and strong emphasis are desired.

The face projects an editorial, old-style confidence—bold, attention-grabbing, and a touch nostalgic. Its sweeping italic rhythm and high-contrast detailing give it a dramatic, crafted feel rather than a neutral, contemporary voice.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional serif voice with heightened drama: a bold, high-contrast italic that feels crafted and expressive while remaining firmly rooted in conventional text-serif structure.

Round letters like O and Q are especially weighty, with the Q featuring a distinct, flowing tail. Numerals follow the same italic, high-contrast logic, producing strong emphasis in display settings and a distinctly traditional flavor.
