A delicate text serif with a tall, compressed stance and a gently modulated stroke. Serifs are fine and mostly bracketed, with tapered terminals and a slightly calligraphic flow that softens the otherwise narrow geometry. Round letters are drawn with tight bowls and restrained apertures, while ascenders feel prominent and the overall rhythm reads vertical and orderly. Figures are similarly slim, with a notably curled, open “2” and a compact “8,” reinforcing the font’s refined, lightweight texture in running text.

It performs well in editorial and book-oriented typography where a refined, space-efficient serif is desirable. The compressed width makes it useful for dense layouts, sidebars, and captions, while its delicate detailing can also serve pull quotes or tasteful headings when set with adequate size and leading.

The overall tone is literary and cultivated, evoking traditional book typography with a light, graceful presence. Its narrow proportions and fine details lend it an elegant, slightly formal voice that feels suited to classic editorial settings rather than loud display.

The design appears intended as a conventional reading serif optimized for compact composition, combining traditional bracketed serifs and calligraphic modulation with a distinctly narrow set. Its shapes prioritize an even vertical rhythm and a polished, classic texture across both text and numerals.

The lowercase shows a clear text-family sensibility, with a single-storey “g” and crisp, compact joins that keep spacing controlled. The narrow set creates a strong columnar color, and the thin serifs and terminals become a defining feature at larger sizes where their finesse is most apparent.
