A heavy, serifed text face with visibly roughened contours and uneven inked edges. Strokes stay broadly low-contrast, but the letterforms show irregular swelling, nicks, and small voids that create a worn print texture. Serifs are sturdy and bracketed, with a slightly flared, stamped look rather than crisp terminals. Spacing appears moderately open, while glyph widths vary enough to produce a lively, uneven rhythm in words and lines.

Works best for display applications where texture is part of the message—posters, cover titling, labels, and branding with a handmade or aged feel. It can be used for short passages or pull quotes when set with generous size and leading, but it’s most effective in headlines and mid-size text where the rugged edges can be appreciated without overwhelming readability.

The overall tone is gritty and archival, like old posters, weathered book type, or a battered typewriter/letterpress impression. Its imperfections read as intentional and tactile, giving text a human, analog presence that feels a bit dramatic and utilitarian at the same time.

The design appears intended to mimic imperfect printing—ink spread, worn type, or distressed stamping—while keeping familiar serif structures for legibility. The goal is a dependable, old-world text skeleton combined with deliberate surface noise for atmosphere and character.

The texture is consistent across caps, lowercase, and numerals, with recurring ragged edges and occasional interior roughness that becomes more apparent at larger sizes. In paragraph-like samples the face remains readable, though the distressed outlines add visual noise that will compound in dense settings or on low-resolution backgrounds.
