This typeface uses chunky, irregular strokes with aggressively ragged edges that feel chipped, torn, or ink-eroded. Letterforms are broadly upright with a mostly steady baseline, but outlines wobble and break in small bites, creating a persistent distressed texture. Counters remain generally open and readable, while terminals end in blunt nicks and small hooks rather than clean cuts. Spacing reads slightly uneven due to the rough silhouettes, giving lines a lively, uneasy rhythm in text.

Best suited to display settings where texture and mood are priorities: horror and thriller titling, seasonal event promotions, haunted attraction branding, game menus, and punchy cover art. It can work for short bursts of body text in large sizes, but the heavy distressing favors headlines, pull quotes, and logos over long-form reading.

The overall tone is ominous and unsettling, like worn signage or a cursed print pulled from a damaged block. Its rough texture and sharp nicks suggest danger, decay, and supernatural atmosphere without becoming fully illegible. The result feels dramatic and theatrical—designed to signal tension at a glance.

The design appears intended to deliver immediate atmosphere through controlled deterioration—pairing recognizable, classic proportions with deliberately damaged edges. By keeping counters and overall structure intact while roughening every contour, it balances readability with an unmistakably sinister, weathered character.

Uppercase shapes are sturdy and poster-like, while the lowercase keeps the same distressed language and holds up in short passages. Numerals match the rugged treatment, with visibly chipped curves and broken joints that maintain consistency across the set.
