A distressed display face with rugged, irregular outlines and a blotty, ink-worn perimeter. Strokes fluctuate subtly in thickness and edge sharpness, creating a hand-rendered, weathered rhythm rather than a clean mechanical one. The forms keep clear, mostly vertical posture with compact counters and slightly jagged terminals that read like torn paper or eroded ink. Uppercase and lowercase share a consistent texture, while spacing and letter width feel intentionally uneven for a raw, organic flow.

Best suited to headlines and short display copy where its distressed contour can be appreciated—such as horror and thriller titles, Halloween or haunted-attraction promotions, game logos, and cover typography. It also works well for props and environmental graphics (warnings, labels, faux archival documents) where a worn, ominous imprint is desirable.

The overall tone is sinister and atmospheric, evoking horror ephemera, cursed manuscripts, and aged print pulled from a forgotten archive. Its roughness and wobble add tension and unease, making text feel unstable, gritty, and slightly feral rather than refined or friendly.

The design appears intended to deliver immediate atmosphere through deliberate irregularity: a controlled, readable skeleton wrapped in torn, blotted edges that simulate aged printing and unsettling texture. It prioritizes mood and character over neutrality, aiming for high-impact display use.

The texture is bold enough to hold together in short lines, but the distressed edges can visually fill in at smaller sizes, especially around tight counters and junctions. Numerals match the same jagged treatment, reinforcing a cohesive, degraded-print look across letters and figures.
