A high-contrast serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a predominantly vertical stress. Serifs are fine and sharply cut, generally bracketed, with crisp terminals that stay controlled rather than decorative. Proportions lean slightly condensed in many capitals, with generous counters and a steady, upright rhythm; curves are smooth and taut, and diagonals (like V/W/Y) feel narrow and pointed. Lowercase shows a compact, bookish structure with a relatively modest x-height, tight apertures on letters like c/e, and clean, teardrop-like details on some joins and terminals.

Best suited to headlines, subheads, and large-size typography where its hairlines and sculpted contrast can remain clear. It also fits editorial titling, fashion or cultural branding, and formal materials such as invitations or certificates; for extended body text it will favor comfortable sizes and good reproduction conditions.

The overall tone is polished and traditional, with an editorial elegance that reads as confident and upscale. Its sharp contrast and precise finishing lend a sense of ceremony and authority, suitable for sophisticated, curated contexts rather than casual or utilitarian ones.

The design appears aimed at delivering a contemporary take on a classic high-contrast text serif, balancing traditional letterform conventions with sharper, more fashionable finishing. It prioritizes elegance and hierarchy, giving designers a face that signals prestige while keeping forms disciplined and readable in display-led settings.

The lining figures share the same high-contrast logic, with a delicate 1 and a curved, calligraphic 2/3, while 4–7 introduce more angular strokes. In the text sample, the face maintains strong word-shape clarity and a consistent texture at display sizes, though the hairline elements emphasize a more premium, print-oriented feel.
