This typeface presents a robust serif structure with pronounced thick–thin modulation and crisp, wedge-like terminals that read as subtly flared. Serifs are sharp and bracketed, with pointed finishing strokes that give caps a chiseled, sculptural feel. Curves are round but tightly controlled, and joins are clean and decisive, producing a steady rhythm across words. Lowercase forms are compact and sturdy, with a relatively large, rounded dot on i/j and a single-storey g; numerals follow the same high-contrast logic with strong vertical stress and refined tapering at ends.

It performs best in headlines, title typography, and editorial display where its high-contrast strokes and sharp serifs can be appreciated at larger sizes. It can also suit branding and packaging that needs a classic, premium voice, particularly in short phrases or logotype-style settings.

The overall tone is formal and assured, combining classical bookishness with a slightly dramatic, ceremonial edge. The sharp serifs and carved terminals add a sense of authority and tradition, making the voice feel polished rather than casual.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional serif presence with heightened drama through strong contrast and flared, pointed stroke endings. It aims for a refined, authoritative reading experience that feels carved and deliberate, prioritizing distinctive silhouette and elegant texture.

Capitals appear especially weighty and stable, with generous interior counters in letters like O and D that keep the heavy strokes from feeling clogged. The W and V show strong diagonal contrast and pointed apexes, reinforcing the crisp, engraved impression. In text, the combination of high contrast and sharp terminals gives a lively texture that favors display and headline use over small, dense settings.
