A high-contrast serif with pronounced vertical stress, thick main stems, and extremely fine hairlines. Serifs are sharp and delicate, giving the outlines a crisp, cut-paper feel; curves transition abruptly into thin joins, and terminals often finish in tapered points. Proportions lean toward display: capitals are stately with narrow joins and generous counters, while the lowercase shows a compact, controlled rhythm with a two-storey a and g and slender, needle-like elements on letters like f, j, r, and t. Numerals mirror the same contrast and refinement, with smooth bowls and thin connecting strokes.

Best suited to headlines, magazine spreads, and brand identities where high contrast can be showcased at larger sizes. It works well for luxury packaging, cultural posters, and editorial titling that calls for an elegant, dramatic typographic voice.

The overall tone is polished and high-end, evoking fashion mastheads, art-book typography, and classic editorial sophistication. Its dramatic contrast and fine detailing read as glamorous and formal, with a cool, contemporary sharpness layered over traditional serif structure.

The design appears intended to deliver a modern Didone-like display impression: maximal contrast, razor serifs, and poised proportions that create immediate impact and an upscale, editorial character.

In text settings the hairlines and serifs become visually prominent, producing a sparkling texture and strong light–dark rhythm. The design favors clean verticals and tight, precise detailing, so it benefits from adequate size and spacing to keep the thinnest strokes from visually receding.
