A high-contrast italic serif with a clear calligraphic axis, crisp hairlines, and tapered terminals. Serifs are bracketed and relatively delicate, with pointed entry strokes and smooth, continuous curves that give the forms a polished rhythm. Uppercase proportions feel traditional and slightly narrow, while the lowercase shows lively modulation and occasional flourished details (notably in f, j, and y), producing a gently varied texture across words. Numerals share the same strong thick–thin pattern and slanted stance, with open counters and elegant curves that align visually with the text.

Well-suited to editorial typography such as magazine features, book interiors, and literary layouts where an italic voice is needed for emphasis, quotes, or chapter openers. It also fits formal applications like invitations and refined branding, especially in headlines, pull quotes, and short text passages where its contrast and detailing can be appreciated.

The overall tone is classic and cultivated, evoking bookish elegance and editorial sophistication. Its slanted, high-contrast construction reads as expressive and refined rather than utilitarian, lending a sense of tradition and ceremony to titles and emphasized passages.

Designed to provide a conventional, readable serif italic with elevated contrast and a distinctly calligraphic finish. The intention appears to balance traditional text-book forms with a more expressive italic cadence for elegant emphasis in editorial and display contexts.

At larger sizes the hairlines and fine serifs look particularly crisp, while in denser settings the strong contrast and italic movement create a pronounced, shimmering texture. The design maintains consistent slope and stress across letters, helping paragraphs feel cohesive despite the expressive terminals.
