A sturdy serif with distinctly flared stroke endings and softly bracketed serifs that widen out of the stems. Curves are generously rounded with moderate modulation, giving counters a smooth, open feel while keeping strong, confident verticals. The lowercase shows a compact, readable build with a traditional two-storey “g,” a short-armed “t,” and a slightly tapered, calligraphic impression in joins and terminals. Capitals are broad and calm in proportion, with stable horizontals and rounded bowls; numerals follow the same weight and flare logic, with clear, old-style warmth despite their sturdy presence.

Well suited to editorial design, long-form reading, and publishing contexts where a classic serif voice is desired. It also performs strongly in headlines and brand work that needs authority and warmth, and can add a crafted, premium tone to packaging and institutional communications.

The overall tone is bookish and established, with an editorial seriousness that still feels approachable. Its flared terminals and softened transitions add a human, crafted warmth, making it feel traditional without becoming overly formal.

The design appears intended to blend traditional serif readability with a more sculpted, flared finish that adds character and warmth. It aims for a confident, classic voice with enough softness in terminals and curves to remain inviting in continuous text.

Spacing reads even in the text sample, producing a steady, comfortable rhythm at display-to-text sizes. The flare at stroke ends is consistent across straight and curved strokes, helping the design feel cohesive and giving letters a subtly sculpted, ink-informed finish.
