A slanted, calligraphic serif design with pronounced stroke modulation and tapered terminals that resemble a flexible pen or brush. Letterforms show lively, uneven contours and occasional roughness along edges, creating a worn, ink-on-paper texture rather than crisp geometry. Capitals are tall and elegant with gently flared serifs and occasional swash-like strokes, while lowercase forms are narrower and more fluid, with long descenders and rhythmic joins. Numerals follow the same italic, pen-drawn logic, with open, airy counters and varied stroke endings that keep the texture consistent across the set.

Well-suited to display settings where texture and personality are assets: book covers, theatrical or literary posters, labels and packaging, and event materials such as invitations. It can also work for short editorial headlines or pull quotes when a historic, hand-rendered feel is desired, while extended small-size body copy may be less ideal due to the roughened detailing.

The overall tone feels old-world and human, like aged print or hand-lettered text pulled from a folio. Its irregularities read as intentional character—evoking craft, tradition, and a slightly mysterious, historical mood.

The design appears intended to blend classic italic serif calligraphy with a deliberately imperfect, aged finish. It aims for a crafted, vintage impression—balancing elegant proportions with tactile irregularity to suggest authentic ink and wear.

Spacing appears intentionally loose and flowing, letting the italic rhythm breathe in text. Distinctive, curling descenders (notably on letters like g, j, y) and pointed entry/exit strokes add motion and a lightly dramatic presence, especially at larger sizes.
