A chunky serif with a typewriter-like skeleton and deliberately roughened contours. Strokes are fairly sturdy with subtle contrast, and terminals often flare into flattened slabs or wedge-like feet. Edges appear uneven and inked-in, with small nicks, bulges, and broken-looking joins that create a worn printing texture. Counters are generally open and roundish, and the overall rhythm is slightly irregular, reinforcing a handmade, distressed impression while remaining readable in continuous text.

Works well for display settings such as posters, title cards, book covers, and packaging where a worn, printed texture adds atmosphere. It can also support short-to-medium passages when an old-typewriter or rough-press mood is intentional, though the distressed edges may feel busy at very small sizes or in dense UI contexts.

The font conveys a vintage, tactile tone—like old correspondence, stamped ephemera, or a well-used press pulling slightly inconsistent ink. Its imperfect outlines and blunted serifs add grit and character, giving text a human, analog presence rather than a polished editorial feel.

The design appears intended to mimic the feel of imperfect mechanical or letterpress output—combining familiar serif letterforms with intentionally irregular, ink-worn outlines. Its goal is to add instant character and narrative texture while keeping conventional proportions for straightforward readability.

Uppercase forms read bold and poster-ready, while lowercase retains the same rugged texture and slightly uneven baseline feel. Numerals share the same distressed treatment and sturdy proportions, making them visually consistent in headings and short strings. The texture is prominent enough to be a defining feature, so it will be most effective where a rough print aesthetic is desired.
