A rough, typewriter-inspired serif with blunt slab-like terminals and visibly irregular edges. Strokes show uneven ink density and slight wobble, creating a worn, printed texture with occasional interior nicks and softened corners. Letterforms are relatively wide with open counters and a steady, readable skeleton, while subtle per-glyph variation adds a natural, imperfect rhythm. Numerals share the same distressed treatment, with rounded forms and slightly uneven stroke endings that reinforce the analog feel.

Works well for posters, title cards, and cover typography where a vintage, worn print aesthetic is desired. It can also support editorial pull quotes, packaging accents, and narrative-driven interfaces (such as games) when you want a typewritten feel with added grit, especially at medium-to-large sizes.

The font conveys a vintage, utilitarian tone—like text produced on aging office equipment or reproduced through imperfect printing. Its distressed texture adds grit and tactility, suggesting authenticity, urgency, and archival character rather than polish or precision.

The design appears intended to emulate classic typewriter letterforms while baking in the artifacts of age—ink spread, rough impressions, and printing wear—to add character and atmosphere. It prioritizes a familiar, readable structure but uses controlled distress to create a more expressive, lived-in voice.

In running text, the consistent typewriter cadence remains intact despite the roughened outlines, so the distress reads as surface wear rather than illegibility. The irregularities are strong enough to be noticeable at display sizes, but restrained enough to preserve word shape and spacing in short paragraphs.
