This typeface is a high-contrast serif with a pronounced rightward slant and a distinctly calligraphic construction. Stems are thick and inky while hairlines taper to very fine points, creating a sharp light–dark rhythm. Serifs are small and wedge-like with subtle bracketing, and many terminals finish in hooked or teardrop forms that emphasize motion. The lowercase shows lively, slightly condensed forms with a traditional two-storey “g” and crisp, narrow joins, while capitals have strong vertical presence and pointed, elegant finishing strokes. Numerals follow the same contrasty, sculpted approach, with narrow counters and tapered entries/exits that read as display-oriented.

Best suited to headlines, subheads, pull quotes, and other prominent text where its contrast and animated terminals can be appreciated. It can work well for magazine and fashion contexts, premium branding, and packaging where a refined, expressive serif is desired. For long passages, it is likely most comfortable when set with generous size and spacing so the hairlines remain clear.

The overall tone is luxurious and editorial, balancing classical bookish cues with a theatrical, fashion-forward slant. Its crisp hairlines and sharp terminals feel formal and high-end, while the energetic italic posture adds flair and urgency. The result is confident and expressive rather than understated.

The design appears intended to deliver a contemporary, high-fashion italic serif look with strong calligraphic flavor and striking contrast. It aims to create elegant emphasis and memorable word shapes, prioritizing visual drama and sophistication over quiet neutrality.

At larger sizes the extreme contrast and fine hairlines become a key visual feature, producing a sparkling texture in word shapes. The italic angle and curled terminals create distinctive silhouettes, especially in letters like a, f, g, y, and z, which helps headlines feel crafted and intentional.
