A bold, right-leaning serif with lively, calligraphic construction and pronounced stroke modulation. Serifs are wedge-like and often flared, with bracketed joins and tapered terminals that feel cut by a broad nib. Curves and joins are slightly irregular in a deliberate way, creating an inked, hand-shaped texture; wide capitals and rounded bowls contribute to a generous horizontal footprint. Counters are compact and the lowercase shows a relatively low x-height with ascending strokes that carry the rhythm forward, giving the text a rolling, uneven baseline energy typical of expressive old-style forms.

Best suited to display roles such as headlines, book or game titles, posters, and packaging where its expressive stroke contrast and swash-like serifs can be appreciated. It can also work for short blurbs, pull quotes, and logo-style wordmarks, especially when a historic or story-driven atmosphere is desired.

The font reads as adventurous and narrative, with a period, hand-printed flavor that suggests folktales, fantasy, and theatrical display. Its animated serifs and sweeping diagonals add drama and motion, producing a confident, slightly mischievous tone rather than a purely formal one.

The design appears intended to evoke hand-set or hand-inked old-style lettering with a dynamic italic stance and a boldly sculpted serif vocabulary. Its goal is less about neutrality and more about character—creating movement, drama, and a vintage narrative feel for attention-getting typography.

In the sample text, the strong slant and energetic serifs create a distinctive texture at larger sizes, while the compact counters and busy terminals can build density in long lines. Numerals share the same calligraphic shaping and varied widths, matching the font’s expressive, hand-rendered character.
