A sharp, angular blackletter with broken strokes and chiseled terminals that create a jagged, ink-cut texture. Vertical stems dominate, with narrow internal counters and tightly pinched joins, while contrasting thick–thin modulation gives the letters a crisp, etched presence. Capitals are more elaborate and irregular in silhouette, showing pointed spurs and notched curves, while the lowercase stays compact with a restrained rhythm and distinctly segmented bowls. Numerals follow the same faceted construction, with compact shapes and pronounced wedges that keep them visually consistent with the alphabet.

This style is best suited to short display settings such as logos, mastheads, poster headlines, album/track titling, and themed packaging where a historical or gothic voice is desired. It can work in larger sizes for phrases or quotations, especially when given extra spacing to preserve clarity.

The overall tone is gothic and historical, suggesting manuscripts, heraldic display, and old-world ceremony. Its sharp edges and dense color lean dramatic and severe rather than friendly or casual, producing a sense of weight and authority even at moderate sizes.

The design appears intended to evoke traditional blackletter calligraphy with an intentionally rugged, hand-cut feel, prioritizing character and period atmosphere over neutral readability. Its compact proportions and spiked detailing aim to create a strong, authoritative silhouette that reads as unmistakably medieval.

Stroke endings frequently resolve into small barbs and hooks, and the interior negative spaces are tight, which can increase visual noise in long passages. The sample text reads best when set with generous tracking and ample line spacing to let the broken forms separate cleanly.
