This typeface shows pronounced thick–thin modulation with a strong vertical stress, pairing sturdy main stems with very fine hairlines. Serifs are crisp and hairline-like, with minimal bracketing, and several glyphs use gently flared or curled terminals that add a subtle calligraphic feel. Proportions lean tall and slightly condensed in the capitals, while the lowercase is compact with a relatively low x-height and lively ascenders/descenders. Overall spacing reads a bit irregular by design, giving the line a slightly varied rhythm rather than strict mechanical uniformity.

It performs best where high contrast and fine details can be preserved: book and chapter titles, magazine or editorial display, pull quotes, and boutique branding. It can also suit formal materials such as invitations or programs, particularly when set at moderate-to-large sizes and with comfortable line spacing to keep hairlines from filling in.

The tone mixes classical refinement with a lightly quirky, storybook character. Its high contrast and delicate finishing details feel formal and cultivated, while the curls and idiosyncratic terminals add charm and a hint of eccentricity.

The design appears intended as a high-contrast serif for expressive, literary typography—delivering traditional sophistication while allowing a touch of personality through curled terminals and slightly varied letter rhythm.

Round letters (like O/C and their lowercase counterparts) emphasize the vertical axis, and several lowercase forms introduce distinctive looped or hooked details that become more noticeable at display sizes. Numerals follow the same contrast model, with thin connecting strokes and occasional curving flourishes that echo the text face’s decorative touches.
