A high-contrast italic serif with crisp, bracketed serifs and a distinctly calligraphic rhythm. Strokes show pronounced thick–thin modulation with tapered entry and exit strokes, and the overall stance is forward-leaning with lively curves. Uppercase proportions feel generous and open, with sharpened terminals and refined joins; the lowercase features expressive shapes, including a looped descender on the g and a sinuous, flag-like tail on the z. Numerals follow the same italic energy, with sweeping curves and clear thick–thin contrast that reads well at display and text-adjacent sizes.

Well suited to book and magazine typography where an italic voice is needed for titles, pull quotes, captions, or emphasized passages. It can also serve in branding and packaging that benefits from a classic, sophisticated serif with expressive italic character, especially at medium to larger sizes.

The tone is cultured and traditional, suggesting classic book typography with an added sense of motion and polish. Its slanted, high-contrast drawing feels refined and slightly dramatic, lending a graceful, editorial voice to headings and emphatic text.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic serif reading tone with a more expressive italic construction, combining traditional proportions with calligraphic detailing. Its pronounced contrast and refined terminals suggest a focus on elegance and typographic hierarchy for editorial and literary settings.

Counters remain clean despite the contrast, and spacing appears comfortably open, helping the italic forms avoid looking cramped. Several characters show distinctive, decorative terminals (notably in g, y, and z), which adds personality while staying within a conventional serif framework.
