This is a high-contrast italic serif with sharp, finely cut terminals and distinctly bracketed serifs. Strokes show a pronounced thick–thin modulation and a consistent rightward slant, giving the letterforms a quick, forward rhythm. Capitals are narrow and stately with wedge-like finishing details, while lowercase forms are compact and lively, with crisp entry/exit strokes and occasional flourished tails (notably in letters like g, j, y, and z). Numerals share the same calligraphic contrast and angled stress, with varied widths and elegant curves that align with the text style rather than geometric uniformity.

It performs well in editorial headlines, pull quotes, book or magazine titling, and other applications that benefit from an elegant italic voice. It can also suit invitations, programs, and refined branding where a classic serif impression is appropriate, especially at medium-to-large sizes where the contrast and detailing are most effective.

The overall tone is cultured and expressive, combining traditional bookish refinement with a slightly dramatic, editorial flair. Its slanted, high-contrast construction reads as sophisticated and formal, suited to settings where a sense of heritage and polish is desired.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional serif reading model infused with a confident italic gesture—prioritizing contrast, graceful movement, and sharp finishing over neutrality. It aims to evoke classic print typography while remaining expressive enough for display and emphasis.

The italic angle is strong enough to be a defining feature, and spacing appears moderately open for an italic, helping the texture stay readable despite thin hairlines. The design leans on sharp apexes and tapered terminals, which heighten clarity in display sizes while giving text a distinctly stylized color.
