A high-contrast serif with a pronounced thick–thin rhythm, vertical stress, and very fine hairlines. Serifs are crisp and relatively unbracketed, giving the shapes a carved, high-definition edge. Capitals are stately with ample width and confident, weighty main stems; curves transition into thin exits and entry strokes that read as delicate. Lowercase shows a traditional, text-oriented construction with compact, dark counters at display sizes and a steady baseline rhythm; numerals share the same contrast and sharp finishing.

Best suited to display typography such as magazine headlines, editorial covers, poster titles, and brand marks where high contrast and crisp serifs can be appreciated. It can also work for short pull quotes or section openers, especially when paired with a calmer text face for extended reading.

The tone is refined and authoritative, with a fashion/editorial sheen and a slightly dramatic, old-world formality. The extreme contrast and razor-like details make it feel premium and ceremonial rather than casual or utilitarian.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic, high-contrast serif voice optimized for impact in large sizes—combining bold, wide proportions with sharp hairlines and clean, modernized finishing for a polished editorial look.

In the sample text, the heavy verticals create strong line presence while the hairlines and serifs add sparkle; at smaller sizes those fine details may visually recede, increasing the perceived darkness of the massed stems. The overall spacing feels generous in caps, supporting headline-style settings and strong word silhouettes.
