A crisp serif with pronounced thick–thin contrast and bracketed, wedge-like serifs that taper to sharp points. Curves are smooth and controlled, with a slightly calligraphic stress visible in round letters, while verticals stay firm and straight. Proportions feel generously set with open counters and clear internal spaces; capitals are stately and well balanced, and the lowercase shows traditional forms with a two-storey “a” and “g,” sturdy stems, and compact joins. Numerals follow the same formal logic, mixing strong vertical structure with elegant curved bowls and tapered terminals.

Well suited to editorial typography—books, long-form articles, and magazine layouts—where a classical serif texture is desired. It also performs convincingly in display roles such as titles, pull quotes, and formal branding systems that benefit from a refined, traditional voice.

The overall tone is traditional and authoritative, projecting a bookish, established voice. Its high contrast and crisp finishing add a sense of refinement suited to polished, institutional communication rather than casual or playful settings.

The design appears intended as a conventional, readable serif that balances classic proportions with crisp, high-contrast detailing. Its goal seems to be delivering an authoritative text-and-display workhorse with a distinctly refined finish.

Diagonal strokes (notably in V, W, X, and Y) show clean tapering and sharp terminal treatment, contributing to a precise, engraved-like presence. The sample text maintains an even rhythm with clear word shapes, suggesting careful spacing and consistent serif behavior across the set.
