A conventional serif with bracketed serifs, moderate stroke modulation, and a steady, bookish rhythm. The capitals are balanced and slightly condensed in feel, with clean, sharp terminals and a controlled flare into the serifs. Lowercase forms are open and readable, with two‑storey a and g, compact bowls, and a gently tapered, calligraphic influence in curves and joins. Numerals are lining and proportioned to sit comfortably alongside the capitals, with clear shapes and restrained detailing.

Well suited to continuous reading in books and long-form editorial layouts, where its measured contrast and open counters support comfortable texture. It also works for magazine typography, reports, and formal branding systems that need a traditional serif voice without heavy ornament.

The overall tone is traditional and cultivated, projecting a calm, trustworthy presence associated with printed literature and institutional communication. Its restrained contrast and familiar proportions give it an authoritative, composed voice rather than a decorative one.

The design appears intended as a dependable, general-purpose text serif: familiar letterforms, moderate modulation, and careful serif treatment aimed at producing an even page color and confident readability in professional documents and editorial settings.

Round letters (C, O, Q) keep smooth, even curvature, while sharper diagonals (V, W, X, Y) are crisp and slightly formal. The set favors clarity over idiosyncrasy, with conventional punctuation and straightforward character construction in the sample text.
