A refined serif with razor-thin hairlines set against strong vertical stems, creating a distinctly high-contrast, stroke-driven texture. Serifs are delicate and often wedge-like or lightly bracketed, with frequent flaring at terminals that gives the outlines a subtly calligraphic finish. The overall drawing is clean and sharply tapered, with narrow joins and crisp apexes; curves (notably in C, G, O, and S) show elegant thinning and pointed transitions. Lowercase forms keep a conventional structure but add personality through teardrop-like terminals and slender, high-stress detailing; numerals echo the same high-contrast logic with emphatic thick–thin modulation.

Best suited to large sizes where the hairline detailing and sharp tapers can be appreciated—editorial headlines, fashion and culture magazines, luxury branding, and premium packaging. It can also work for short pull quotes, title pages, and elegant poster typography where a dramatic, high-contrast serif voice is desired.

The tone is polished and high-end, balancing classic bookish authority with a contemporary editorial edge. Its dramatic contrast and hairline detail read as stylish and cultivated, lending a sense of exclusivity and sophistication while staying grounded in familiar serif conventions.

The design appears intended to deliver a modern, high-contrast interpretation of a conventional serif: familiar proportions for readability, combined with fashion-forward sharpness, delicate serifs, and pronounced stroke modulation for impact in display settings.

In text, the thin horizontals and fine serifs create a bright, shimmering rhythm, while the heavier verticals anchor the line and maintain a clear baseline. The ampersand and the more stylized terminals add a hint of couture-like flair without tipping into novelty, making it feel suited to display-led typography that still wants a traditional backbone.
