A text serif with calligraphic modeling and noticeably organic outlines. Strokes show gentle modulation and subtle unevenness, with bracketed, slightly flared serifs and softly cupped terminals that give counters a lively, hand-cut feel. Curves are full and somewhat asymmetrical, and joins can look softly pinched, creating an ink-on-paper character rather than a strictly geometric rhythm. Capitals carry modest classical proportions, while the lowercase sits compactly with relatively small interior space and sturdy stems, producing a dark, flavorful texture in paragraphs.

Well-suited for book covers, editorial headlines, pull quotes, and short-to-medium reading passages where a traditional, crafted texture is desired. It also fits packaging, labels, and identity work that benefits from an antique or artisanal tone, and performs nicely in display sizes where its terminal shapes and modulation can be appreciated.

The overall tone reads historical and human, evoking printed ephemera, early book type, and hand-tooled letterforms. Its slightly quirky details add charm and approachability, lending a narrative, old-world voice rather than a clinical or corporate one.

The design appears intended to capture an old-style, print-derived voice with a deliberately handmade edge—balancing readability with distinctive, calligraphy-informed details to create warmth and personality in both display and text settings.

In the sample text, the face builds a dense, textured color with pronounced character in round letters and diagonals. At larger sizes the irregular edges and distinctive terminals become a feature, while in longer settings the compact forms can feel weighty and best suited to comfortable line spacing.
