A high-contrast roman with thick verticals and hairline horizontals, producing a crisp, engraved feel. Curves are smooth and broadly drawn, with oval counters and a steady, vertical axis; joins and terminals resolve into sharp wedge-like points rather than rounded endings. Capitals feel sturdy and formal, while the lowercase shows compact, controlled shapes with single-storey a and g, a pointed, diamond-like i/j tittle, and a long-tailed y. Numerals and punctuation match the same contrast and angular finishing, giving the overall set a polished, print-forward rhythm.

Best suited to headlines, subheads, and display typography where its contrast can read as intentional and refined. It can work well for magazine mastheads, luxury or heritage branding, packaging, and poster titles that benefit from strong vertical emphasis and crisp details. For extended reading, it will be most comfortable at moderate sizes where the hairlines remain visible without breaking up.

The font projects a confident, editorial tone with a touch of luxury. Its dramatic contrast and sharp finishing cues feel suited to high-end publishing and brand environments where a strong voice and visual hierarchy are desired. The overall impression is composed and authoritative rather than casual.

The design appears intended to deliver a modern, high-impact editorial serif voice with a clean, controlled structure and distinctive pointed detailing. It prioritizes dramatic stroke modulation and strong silhouette recognition, aiming for premium presence and clear hierarchy in display settings.

At text sizes the hairline strokes and thin crossbars become a key stylistic feature, creating clear light–dark modulation and a slightly sparkling texture. Wide, open bowls and generous interior space help preserve clarity, while the pointed details (notably in S, a, y, and the i/j dots) add a distinctive, crafted signature.
