A high-contrast serif with sculpted, calligraphic modulation and bracketed wedge-like terminals. Stems are crisp and fairly straight, while curves carry a subtle, inked irregularity that gives the outlines a slightly hand-cut feel without becoming rustic. Serifs are sharp and flared rather than slabby, with lively joins and tapered endings that create a strong dark–light rhythm. Proportions lean traditional: round letters are full, counters are moderately open, and spacing feels intentionally a touch tight in text, producing a dense, authoritative texture.

Well suited to book and long-form editorial typography where a classic serif voice is desired, particularly for literature, history, and cultural content. It also performs nicely for display uses such as chapter openers, pull quotes, and headings that benefit from sharp serifs and high-contrast sparkle. The crafted, traditional feel makes it a strong choice for heritage-minded branding, certificates, menus, and formal invitations.

The tone is classic and literary, evoking printed books, formal documents, and historical or heritage contexts. Its sharp serifs and high contrast read as refined and serious, while the faintly organic stroke behavior adds warmth and human presence. Overall it feels authoritative yet crafted—more “ink on paper” than purely mechanical.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional, old-style reading experience with added character from calligraphic modulation and pointed, flared serifs. It aims to balance formal typographic authority with a subtly human, inked liveliness, creating a distinctive texture in both headings and continuous text.

Uppercase forms show pronounced, stylized serifs and confident vertical stress, while lowercase maintains a readable, traditional rhythm with slightly quirky terminals that add character. Numerals appear old-style in spirit, with curving forms and strong contrast that harmonize with the text color. At larger sizes the angular serifs and tapered details become a distinctive feature, while at smaller sizes the contrast and tight texture may ask for comfortable leading.
