A high-contrast serif with crisp, tapered strokes and sharply defined, bracketed serifs. Vertical stems read strong and dark, while hairlines and connecting strokes become extremely fine, creating a vivid thick–thin rhythm. The letterforms are upright and relatively compact, with slightly flared transitions where strokes meet serifs, and pointed, knife-like finishing details on many terminals. Counters are clean and open, and the figures follow the same contrast logic, mixing sturdy verticals with delicate curves and hairline joins.

Best suited to display typography such as headlines, magazine spreads, cover lines, pull quotes, and high-end branding where the contrast and sharp detailing can be appreciated. It can work for short passages in generously sized, well-spaced settings, but will be most reliable when used for titles and prominent text.

The overall tone is polished and assertive, combining classic bookish credibility with a distinctly stylish, modern edge. Its dramatic contrast and razor-like details convey luxury, formality, and a confident editorial voice.

The design appears intended to deliver a refined, high-impact serif voice built around extreme contrast and precise, tapered detailing. It aims to balance classical proportions with fashion-forward sharpness, emphasizing elegance and drama for contemporary editorial and branding use.

At larger sizes the sharp serifs, thin hairlines, and tapered joins become a key part of the personality, producing elegant sparkle along baselines and curved strokes. In denser settings, the extreme contrast can make fine connections and hairlines visually fragile, so spacing and size choice will strongly affect the perceived crispness.
