A compact serif with subtly flared stroke endings and pronounced, beak-like terminals that give many letters a tapered, chiseled finish. Strokes read largely even in weight, but the pointed serifs and swelling joins create a lively, high-contrast impression without extreme thick–thin modulation. Curves are round and full, with tight apertures in letters like C, S, and e, and a consistent, slightly calligraphic shaping across bowls and shoulders. Uppercase forms are sturdy and narrow with confident verticals, while the lowercase shows distinctive, somewhat idiosyncratic details—such as the single-storey a and g and a strong, angular treatment in v/w/x—producing an animated rhythm in text.

Best suited for headlines and short-to-medium text where the flared terminals can be appreciated—such as book covers, editorial display, posters, and branded packaging. It can also work for pull quotes and section heads, especially in contexts aiming for a vintage or storybook atmosphere.

The overall tone feels nostalgic and slightly theatrical, balancing friendliness with a hint of old-world formality. Its pointed terminals and decorative flares evoke classic display typography and storybook titling, lending personality and charm rather than strict neutrality.

The design appears intended to deliver a readable serif with strong character, using flared endings and sharp, decorative terminals to add texture and a hand-tooled flavor. It prioritizes distinct silhouettes and rhythmic texture in text over minimalism, making it a good choice when typography needs to carry mood.

The font’s personality comes from repeated terminal motifs—sharp, inward-cut serifs and small spur-like flicks—applied consistently across caps, lowercase, and numerals. Numerals appear robust and stylistically aligned with the letterforms, with rounded counters and distinctive finishing strokes that keep them visually present in running text.
