This serif italic shows pronounced thick–thin modulation with hairline serifs and delicate joins. The capitals are relatively upright in structure but consistently slanted, with sharp, clean terminals and ample interior space in bowls. Lowercase forms are narrow and flowing, with a single-storey italic a and g, long ascenders/descenders, and a rhythmic, pen-influenced stroke that keeps counters open despite the contrast. Numerals follow the same high-contrast logic, mixing sturdy main strokes with fine hairlines for a cohesive text color.

Well-suited to editorial layouts, book titling, pull quotes, and refined long-form typography where an italic voice is needed for emphasis. It also fits formal print pieces such as invitations and certificates, and can lend a premium feel to brand wordmarks and packaging when used at display sizes.

The overall tone is polished and cultivated, evoking classic book typography and editorial refinement. Its crisp contrast and italic movement add a sense of sophistication and ceremony, making the page feel upscale and intentional rather than casual.

The design appears intended as a classic high-contrast italic companion for conventional serif typography, prioritizing elegance, strong emphasis, and a smooth reading rhythm. Its carefully controlled hairlines and traditional proportions suggest a focus on formal publishing and tasteful display use.

At larger sizes the hairlines read especially crisp and ornamental, while in denser settings the strong contrast creates a lively texture. The italic angle is noticeable but controlled, and the design maintains a consistent baseline rhythm with clear, traditional letterfit.
