A heavy, high-impact serif with chunky slab-and-wedge terminals and a compact, blocky construction. Strokes show visible roughness and slight waviness along edges, as if inked or printed on textured stock, with small notches and uneven shoulders that keep the texture consistent across the set. Counters are relatively tight and shapes are broadly rounded, while serifs flare with a hand-hewn look rather than crisp geometric joins. The overall rhythm is upright and sturdy, with bold capitals and sturdy numerals that hold their weight in dense settings.

Best suited for display typography where texture is part of the message: headlines, poster work, album/cover art, packaging, and brand marks that want a vintage or rustic feel. It can work for short text blocks at larger sizes, but the tight counters and distressed detailing are most effective when not set too small.

The texture and blunt, old-style serifs give it a nostalgic, workmanlike tone—suggesting traditional printing, handmade signage, and well-worn display type. It reads as friendly but tough, with a slightly rugged character that feels at home in themed, period-leaning visuals.

The design appears intended to deliver a bold, attention-grabbing serif with an intentionally worn, printed finish—combining strong, classic letterforms with irregular edges to evoke age, tactility, and analog production.

In the sample text, the roughened edges stay readable at large sizes and create a consistent “printed” color across lines. The bold weight and tight counters make it best when given some breathing room, especially in longer all-caps phrases or dense paragraphs.
