A condensed slab-serif display face with tall proportions and strong vertical emphasis. Strokes show pronounced thick–thin contrast, with heavy stems and lighter connecting strokes, and squared, bracketless serifs that read as wood-type inspired. The outlines and counters are intentionally irregular, featuring chipped edges, ink breaks, and mottled interior texture that varies from glyph to glyph, creating an uneven printed impression. Spacing is relatively tight and the overall rhythm is assertive, with simplified curves and slightly inconsistent terminals that reinforce the distressed construction.

Best used at display sizes where the rough texture can read clearly—posters, event flyers, labels, storefront-style graphics, and title treatments. It works well for short bursts of text such as headlines, subheads, and badges where a vintage, worn print character is desirable.

The texture and condensed, poster-like structure evoke a vintage, utilitarian feel—part old letterpress, part worn signage. It communicates grit and urgency, with a loud, attention-grabbing tone suited to dramatic or thematic settings rather than quiet editorial refinement.

The design appears aimed at recreating the look of condensed wood-type or metal-type printing with deliberate wear, uneven inking, and imperfect edges. Its narrow, high-impact silhouettes prioritize attention and atmosphere over long-form legibility, offering a ready-made distressed aesthetic without additional effects.

The distressing is high-frequency and visible even at headline sizes, with noticeable speckling and roughness in vertical stems and bowls. Numerals and capitals share the same narrow silhouette and rugged surface, keeping the set visually cohesive in all-caps treatments.
